Online reviews of virtually everything – including professional advisers – are now part of the landscape. You can choose it ignore them, but they won’t ignore you.
Consumers are used to leaving their opinion about their service experience on LinkedIn, Facebook, Tripadvisor and a thousand others…and they will increasingly leave their opinions online about the expertise and experience of working with professionals too. Google reviews are a go to resource for consumers now.
We cannot fight it, even if we wanted to. The only viable choice is to “embrace it” and try and make it work as best you can for your own brand and business positioning.
