A simple tip to strengthen your ability to get found by your ideal prospects when they are searching online: use the title that THEY would use for someone like you, not the title we might use with our industry peers.

 

It sounds a simple thing, but it is an area that many many professionals overlook, or just plain get wrong.  Search, or SEO, is critical to getting found by ideal prospects today because they are pretty much all googling to check out potential professionals – even after they’ve been recommended to a particular person.

 

An important area for search that many professionals miss is the title area of their LinkedIn profile – it is prime search real estate!
