There is a wonderfully simple technique that all professionals should be using every time they make a recommendation….

…of the challenges of giving advice in what is usually a difficult area for consumers to comprehend rapidly.  Consumers usually need a few seconds longer in processing time, as the concepts we discuss are not their core competency, and they also need to understand the logic of what is being recommended.

Linking the recommendation or observation with a “because” and then providing the validation gives them the processing time and logic.
