4 keys to making your emails effective marketing tools!

There is no doubt that the most frequently used method of business communication today is still email.  One could go so far as to say it is still the dominant digital marketing medium.

It begs the question “why don’t more professionals put more effort into making it a central part of their marketing, instead of just seeing it as a messaging system?

I suspect it comes down to two simple things:

a.  they don’t realise that every piece of communication as another marketing touchpoint, and,

b.  therefore they don’t treat it as a piece of marketing collateral

To begin making your emails an effective part of your marketing there are some basics to implement.

1.  Your emails should support and reflect your Brand.

2.  The content should be valuable.

3.  Messaging should resonate with the audience – you need to be in their space.

4.  Regular communication is critical.
